1980, when the Bird Care and
Conservation Society South Australia Inc was formed, members caring for
rescued birds have gained a great deal of knowledge on the subject.
This knowledge
has been compiled and in August 2001 the BCCS published it as "Handbook
Caring for Rescued Birds".
